Covid 19 Outbreak Hub Team Leader

 

Grade PO12

 

36 hours per week

 

Fixed Term until 30th September 2022

The purpose of the Wirral COVID-19 Outbreak Hub is to prevent, control and manage outbreaks across all settings in Wirral in line with the Local Outbreak Management Plan.

 

You will lead the effective operational delivery of the Wirral Outbreak Hub, managing the day-to-day functions of the Hub team, recognising and dealing with situations as they arise and managing an effective response to any COVID-19 outbreaks.

 

As team leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that Wirral is ready to respond to outbreaks and focused on preserving life and safeguarding the vulnerable as well as being at the forefront of prevention strategies ' providing advice and support to Keep Wirral Well and undertaking targeted work driven by local intelligence.

 

You will have strong leadership skills and will be able to manage complex projects and work programmes whilst maintaining a clear focus on priorities.  You will be responsive and decisive whilst being able to motivate team members and drive forward improvements to systems and processes in a fast-changing environment. You will be experienced in working with a range of stakeholders and partners, and resilient to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The successful applicant must have the ability to converse with members of the public and provide advice in accurate, spoken English.

 

The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly, including during out of hours, evenings and weekends as part of a rota/flexible working system.
