The Team Leader role is key to the smooth running of our large respite, shared care and residential setting on the Wirral.
In this role you will have considerable experience of a senior role within Social Care and preferably a children's home setting and or within disabilities.
You will lead shifts, supervise staff, have responsibility for designated tasks including rotas, quality assurance, health and safety, safeguarding of the children and be an effective part of the leadership team within the home, and be the lead on shift and deputise for the manager and deputies in their absence. You will be supported in your professional development.
You will need to flexible to the needs of the home, deliver outstanding care and leadership to an experienced team and support the deputies and manager in prioritising the needs of the children and service.
You will need to hold your Level 3 Diploma in residential children's services or equivalent.
You will require experience in delivering positive outcomes for children.
You will work on a rolling 3 week rota with the requirement to do early/late/split shifts including sleep-ins.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
