About the role (information to be obtained from job description - job role purpose and key tasks)

In this role, you'll be one of four transport coordinators responsible for the day to day management of the home to school and vulnerable adult transport services and management of the Council's pupil escort service, drivers and passenger attendance.

You will help to deliver an efficient and effective home to school transports service and undertake risk assessments as and when required

We are looking for someone who can has good interpersonal skills and can manage a team employees effectively and be comfortable delivering training to a small group

You'll need have experience working with computers and have a good working knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Excel & Word etc. Your experience should include working in a busy office with a good understanding of the the geography/localities of the various areas of Wirral.

Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our service users and customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
