Are you an experienced and inspirational leader with a background in Human Resources? Are you looking for your next opportunity to develop your career and #bethedifference?

Wirral is home to vibrant, energetic and engaged communities, people who take real ownership of their local area and are passionate about making Wirral a better place. We’ve got ambitious targets to meet by 2025. To achieve everything we have promised to our residents, we need people who are driven and ready to deliver the very best for our communities.  Public service is more important than ever and this role represents a real opportunity to make a difference to our communities by transforming the way we work and placing our residents at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to work alongside our Directorate Leadership Teams.  This is a key role in our HR/OD Team, leading, managing and facilitating your business area through an extensive and varied range of workforce change projects and programmes in support of the Council’s strategic objectives. You will provide advice, data-led insight, and support to Senior Leaders and managers on a range of workforce issues, and identify fit for purpose HR solutions.

You will be a credible, customer focused HR practitioner with the ability to influence, develop and maintain trusting relationships with a range of stakeholders, and be able to liaise closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality HR services.

Ultimately, you will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents, you will role model our values and will be an ambassador for the Council.  #BeTheDifference.
